Join us for a timely and thought-provoking presentation that looks at child welfare through a
dual lens – what is working to support children and families and where we must do better.

Our Speaker:

Jess Uddenberg is the Executive Director of Highland Shores Children’s Aid, which
protects and cares for vulnerable children and youth in Hastings, Northumberland, and
Prince Edward and provides programs and services to empower them and their families.
Jess holds a Master’s degree in Criminal Justice and a Bachelor’s in Criminology as well as
a Diploma in Social Service and certificates in leadership, financial literacy and adult

learning. Jess believes strongly in continuing education.
