  • Corina Brdar is Ontario Nature’s coordinator in PEC. Corina worked as an ecologist for the province for two decades and recently completed an M.Sc. In ecology and has paddled watersheds all over Ontario. Ontario Nature’s vision, ‘An Ontario where nature inspires and sustains us for generations to come’.
  • Tim Trustham is a conservation forester at Quinte Conservation. Quinte Conservation is our local watershed and environmental protection agency. It delivers vital science-based programs and services to residents and municipalities.
  • Brad McNevin Chief Administration Officer of Quinte Conservation – will provide a brief introduction. Brad is a friend – it will be a pleasure to have him introduce things.

Protecting 25,000 acres of our natural heritage crossed our screens and captured our attention. Then it was another day. But wait, just maybe it was the most significant news of the year. Come and show our appreciation to Quinte Conservation and Ontario Nature for helping protect our most significant wetlands and what it means for our environment and biodiversity.
